UNIVERSITY ENGAGEMENT OFFICE The University Engagement Office (UEO) is established with the primary objective of enhancing the University’s engagement with stakeholders of the community and strengthening its brand. The Office takes charge of engaging both internal and external stakeholders, managing university-wide events and marketing initiatives, and handling Chinese Mainland affairs. The Office is now inviting applications for the following position: Assistant Manager (25260472) Responsibilities: Support the planning and execution of university-wide events, engagement activities, and promotional campaigns; Coordinate pre-event and onsite logistics, stakeholder engagement, and material production; Prepare post-event reports to evaluate the outcomes, effectiveness and stakeholder feedback; Develop and design souvenir products and promotional materials, and manage related procurement and inventory control; Facilitate effective collaboration and communication with internal parties as well as external vendors and partners to ensure smooth event and project delivery; and Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: A recognised degree in Communications, Marketing, Event Management, or a related discipline; At least 5 years of relevant work experience; familiarity with the higher education sector is an advantage; Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua; Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and organisational skills; Creative, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as a team; Able to manage time and work under tight schedule; and Good computer skills. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit a written test and an interview. The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review and mutual agreement. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Responsibilities
