Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort. We're looking for a passionate and hands-on UX/UI professional to design intuitive, engaging and seamless digital experiences across our growing digital ecosystem. As the Assistant Manager, UX/UI Design, you will play an important role in shaping Mandai's digital experiences by designing end-to-end guest journeys, creating user-centred interfaces, and contributing to the evolution of our design standards across multiple digital touchpoints. Design Seamless Omni-Channel Experiences Design and optimise end-to-end user journeys across Mandai's digital ecosystem, ensuring every interaction feels intuitive, connected and meaningful. Design experiences across Website, Mobile App, WeChat Mini Program, AI Agent and future digital channels. Develop journey maps, user flows and service blueprints to identify pain points and opportunities. Ensure consistency and seamless transitions across channels. Apply user-centred and systems-thinking approaches to balance guest needs with business objectives. Partner with stakeholders to align experiences with Mandai's guest experience and commerce goals. Define Mandai's UX Vision and Standards Establish the frameworks and principles that shape how digital products are designed and experienced. Define UX methodologies, standards and best practices. Design and evolve information architecture and navigation structures. Facilitate workshops to align stakeholders around customer needs. Advocate accessibility, usability and simplicity throughout the product lifecycle. Bring Ideas to Life Through Exceptional UI Design Translate insights and requirements into elegant, user-friendly interfaces. Create wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs. Design responsive and mobile-first interfaces. Produce detailed design specifications and assets for development teams. Conduct design reviews to ensure consistency and quality. Maintain and enhance UI screens across digital products. Own and Evolve Mandai's Design System Build scalable design foundations that enable teams to move faster while maintaining consistency. Develop and maintain Mandai's design system and component libraries. Develop and maintain reusable UI components and interaction patterns. Drive adoption of design principles across teams. Ensure experiences align with brand, accessibility and platform standards. Work with Product and Technology teams to drive consistency. Support the continuous enhancement of Mandai's design assets. Drive Continuous Improvement Through Research and Optimisation Use data, research and guest feedback to continuously improve experiences. Conduct usability testing and UX research. Analyse behavioural insights and guest feedback. Identify opportunities to improve usability and engagement. Partner with optimisation teams to translate insights into action. Influence Through Collaboration Partner with diverse teams to bring experiences to life. Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, Marketing, Content, Technology and Operations teams. Facilitate discovery sessions and design workshops. Present concepts and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams. Manage external agencies and vendors where required. Job Requirements: 5–7 years of experience in UX design, UI design, product design, service design or digital experience roles. Proven experience designing customer-facing digital products across web and mobile platforms. Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in: Journey mapping Information architecture UX research Wireframing and prototyping UI design Design systems Experience working with cross-functional teams including Product, Technology and Business stakeholders. Experience coordinating with agencies or external partners is advantageous. Technical skills: Figma (preferred) FigJam or Miro Adobe Creative Suite Prototyping and collaboration tools Personal attributes: Curious and empathetic towards users. Detail-oriented with a strong eye for design. Collaborative and open to feedback. Comfortable facilitating discussions and presenting ideas. Able to balance creativity with practicality. Passionate about creating meaningful guest experiences.
