JOB DESCRIPTION:

As an Assistant Manager at SugarBird, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our wine bars and retail offerings whilst creating memorable experiences for our customers.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
· Operations Management:
o Assist in the daily management of the wine bar, including overseeing staff and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
o Collaborate with the Assistant Events Manager and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
o Help maintain high standards of cleanliness, health, and safety protocols in line with licensing laws and regulations.

REQUIREMENTS:

o Previous experience in the hospitality or wine industry is preferred (WSET Level 1 or 2 in Wine would be a significant advantage)
o Personal License holder
o Strong and demonstrable leadership and communication skills.
o A flexible schedule to accommodate working in a variety of locations and to incorporate weekend shifts.
