ABOUT THE ROLE:

Are you ready to take the next step in your career? We’re looking for an Assistant Manager to join our growing team in Doncaster. This role offers the flexibility to work across both audit and accounts, or focus solely on accounts, depending on your background and interests. You’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality client work, mentoring junior team members, and supporting the ongoing success of our office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing client assignments, ensuring work is delivered accurately and within agreed deadlines.
  • Supporting, reviewing, and guiding junior staff to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Preparing and reviewing accounts, tax, PAYE, and VAT returns.
  • Planning and overseeing audit engagements (where applicable).
  • Maintaining strong client relationships and handling queries with professionalism.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Managing and recording chargeable time efficiently to support effective fee recovery.
