Icebergs Harbour Bar now seeking applications from qualified and experienced Assistant Venue Manager, Bar Assistant Managers, Floor Assistant Managers, Supervisors and Hosting vacancies immediately. We are looking for committed professionals that are inspired by the opportunity to join the Icebergs family and build on a legacy that has been successful and widely acclaimed for the past 20 years.
Job Type: Full-time/ Casual Hours
IDHB Key Responsibilities:
- Continuing IDRB ‘s DNA to Ensure efficient, friendly and professional food and beverage service is provided to all guests
- Work with Venue Manager to establish and facilitate an on-going Job Training Program
- Overseeing reservations and building relationships with regular guests and international clients.
- Lead a new team to create an experience and environment that exceeds expectations.
- Ensure all staff are competent in food & beverage menus and can maximize sales to guests.
- Assist with rostering, stock levels and cost control and management of functions & events.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
KEY QUALITIES & EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in no less than a Supervisory role in either a professional dining establishment or Bar
- Strong F&B product knowledge and passion to extend knowledge.
- Ability to maintain a calm demeanour in a fast paced, high intensity environment
- Experience managing functions and events
- Familiarity with booking systems – experience working with SevenRooms is a bonus
- Experience working within a hotel setting is a bonus
- Valid RSA
- Full Australian working rights
