Job Title: Assistant Manager – Documentation & Logistics (International Business – Exports) Location: Bangalore Industry: FMCG Role Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven Assistant Manager – Documentation & Logistics to manage end-to-end export documentation and international shipment coordination. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth export operations, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery of shipments across global markets. Key Responsibilities: Manage complete export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, bill of lading, certificate of origin, and other regulatory documents. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and country-specific documentation standards. Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA agents, shipping lines, and internal stakeholders for seamless shipment execution. Track shipment schedules and proactively manage delays, discrepancies, or documentation issues. Oversee incoterms implementation and ensure correct freight, insurance, and logistics handling as per contractual agreements. Maintain accurate records of export transactions, documentation, and logistics costs. Work closely with the international sales team to ensure timely order processing and fulfillment. Monitor export timelines and optimize logistics processes for cost efficiency and operational effectiveness. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain, or related field. 3–5 years of experience in export documentation and logistics, preferably in the FMCG industry. Strong knowledge of export procedures, incoterms, customs clearance, and international shipping processes. Experience coordinating with freight forwarders and regulatory authorities. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP or similar platforms preferred). Excellent communication and coordination skills.
