SeaRegs Training are a maritime training centre based at Turnchapel Wharf, Plymouth. As well as classroom based training we operate a small fleet of commercial vessels comprising of one 36’ yacht, two RIB’s, two 33’ motor vessels and an Uncrewed Surface Vessel on which we conduct training.
We require a person to assist in maintaining maintenance of these vessels, classrooms and assist and work alongside the Resource and Maintenance Manager.
The ideal candidate will be a practical person who ideally is at home in the marine environment and ideally has some knowledge or an interest in fixing and maintaining. They should also be ready to help clean vessels.
The successful candidate will get lots of experience in vessel maintenance and also the opportunity to gain other qualifications along the way such as boat driving and safety certification.
They should also be prepared to meet customers and deal with basic paperwork duties such as maintaining vessel records and ensuring appropriate paperwork is filled out.
This is a physical job where the person will be on and off boats, up ladders and gangways.

The job is based around a five-day working week and weekend work will be a requirement on rotation. This is a full time permanent position subject to a three month trial period. 28 days holiday including bank holidays. There is lots of scope for personal development within this company.
Salary 20 -24K pa based on age and experience. There are many opportunities for further training through us with this position.
