JOB PURPOSE SUMMARY:

The Assistant Marketing Manager plays a key role in amplifying the Hamleys brand through innovative digital initiatives, social media engagement, and creative content strategies which can also flow into the stores through a digital approach. This role is focused on building an engaging online presence that drives customer interaction and complements the overall marketing strategy.

OVERALL PURPOSE OF ROLE:

  • Digital & Social Focus: Enhance the brand’s digital footprint by leveraging social media platforms, online campaigns, and content creation to connect with target audiences.
  • Brand Building: Develop and implement digital strategies that increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and support sales growth.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., creative, digital, and operations teams) and external digital agencies to ensure consistent brand messaging across all digital channels.
  • Campaign Management: Support the planning and execution of online campaigns, ensuring they are aligned with the overall marketing strategy and contribute to measurable business results.
  • Brand Partnerships: To build third party partnerships which can be utilized for digital and social collabs to further build on brand recall
