Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Materials Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in materials science and engineering, particularly in product development and quality control. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research and development to design new materials and enhance existing products.
• Use CAD software, including AutoCAD and SolidWorks, to design and model materials and components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project scheduling with manufacturing timelines.
• Collect and analyze data to support and strengthen quality control processes.
• Apply mechanical knowledge in the fabrication of prototypes and final products.
• Ensure designs and processes comply with ASME codes and standards.
• Perform laboratory testing to evaluate material properties and performance.
• Implement GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) in design specifications.
• Oversee manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Experience with project scheduling methodologies.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as plastics blow molding and injection molding.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on fabrication experience.
• Understanding of quality control principles and engineering standards.
• Ability to conduct thorough research and development activities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
