Working under the guidance of the Principal Services Engineer and Project Design Manager, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality mechanical design services for a diverse range of projects, from modernising schools to upgrading public buildings. Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Providing professional advice and delivering a wide range of mechanical services design for new developments and refurbishments.
  • Producing technical drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit-based software.
  • Carrying out mechanical design calculations, including using software such as Stabicad, IES, or Hevacomp.
  • Writing clear, concise technical reports to inform project decisions.
  • Planning, prioritising, and managing your workload to meet deadlines and fee targets.
  • Collaborating with internal colleagues and external consultants to meet technical, financial, and legislative requirements.
  • Conducting site visits, including accessing all areas of building sites using ladders or scaffolding when required.
