Works with Manager, MRI in developing MMRI protocols and Policies for the Health System, which includes TUH-Main, Jeanes Campus, NEC and FCCC. Oversees the daily operations of all the MRI departments with Manager, MRI. Assists in coordinating the scheduling of examinations with the referring physician, Radiologist and Schedulers. Responsible for assisting the manager and physicians in orientation and training of new technologists and students. Directs the work of technologists in the absence of department leadership or as instructed by manager. Performs timekeeping duties for technologists, scheduler and technical assistant. Establishes yearly goals for staff and completes annual evaluations. Plans and develops orientation packet for new hires. Works with MRI Manager to plan annual labor and non-labor budgets. Works with Manager to plans capital purchases. Maintains ACR accreditation status for all locations. Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Required or Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree approved AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program Required Experience 3 years experience in supervising/leading others Required 4 years experience as an MRI Technologist Required Licenses Amer Reg Radiologic Technlgst Required Basic Life Support Required Reg Technologist (MR) Required
