POSITION DESCRIPTION

Concordia University seeks applicants for the full-time, exempt position of Assistant Network Administrator. This position is responsible for managing and maintaining the University server, internet, and network systems. This position reports to the Senior Director of Technology and is located on the Mequon, Wisconsin campus.
Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until successful candidates are identified.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  • Superior technical knowledge and experience in operating systems, software, and hardware in an academic setting
  • Familiarity with multiple operating systems such as Microsoft, Linux, and Macintosh
  • Ability to install, setup and troubleshoot network applications
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organization skills
  • Able to work independently with general supervision and direction
  • Willing to work some evening and weekend hours as needed.
  • Supportive of the mission and values of Concordia University Wisconsin/Ann Arbor and the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

A degree in Information Technology and/or related work experience is required. Academic computing experience preferred.
