Job Description We are actively searching for an experienced hospitality professional to join our Manly Pacific family as an Assistant Night Manager! As the Assistant Night Manager, you are a confident and approachable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Your keen attention to detail and ability to read guests’ needs set you apart, ensuring each night shift runs smoothly and guests receive outstanding service. You bring a results-driven mindset to your role and continuously strive for excellence in guest satisfaction and operational performance. Responsibilities: Assist in overseeing and managing the night-time operations of the hotel, ensuring seamless service delivery throughout the shift. Act as the hotel’s representative on behalf of the General Manager and Front Office Manager in their absence. Lead and motivate the night team to uphold a welcoming and caring culture, creating memorable experiences tailored to each guest. Ensure the consistent application of Accor’s guest loyalty and recognition programs during the night shift. Connect authentically with guests and team members by actively listening and demonstrating empathy, fostering a sense of belonging. Champion health and safety standards by leading through example and adhering to Accor’s procedures. Manage and support front desk operations, including guest check-ins, check-outs, and handling any guest requests or issues promptly. Assist with nightly reporting and communication to day management for smooth transitions between shifts. Oversee and manage night shift finances, including cash handling, reconciliation, and ensuring financial procedures are followed accurately. Qualifications Qualifications and Experience: Full working rights in Australia. Leadership experience at a supervisory level or above. Previous Front Office or similar experience, with knowledge of the Opera system preferred. Passion for people and hospitality. Hands-on, natural-born leader with the ability to nurture, develop, and bring out the best in your team. Ability to make independent and confident decisions. Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
