SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Constantly improve knowledge and show a desire to learn, attend company’s trainings

  • Maintain high levels of enthusiasm and commitment to every task undertaken
  • Good communication skills
  • Proficiency in English Language is strongly preferred
  • Opera PMS and Symphony system experience is preferable

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Assistant Night Manager, you will report to the Rooms Division Manager and will work alongside the reception team and be very customer focused.
We are looking for someone with 4-star Hotel background who is used to working in a highly pressurised environment and can multi task and experience in Handling Flight disruptions. The Assistant Night Manager will have bags of personality with a positive & problem-solving attitude.

THE ASSISTANT NIGHT MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Nightly running of department and ensuring guest satisfaction
· Train & develop the team, leading them by example.
· Guarantee a good coordination in between Hotels department
· Handle complaints
· Complete the daily and nightly audit / reports
· Handle flight disruptions
· Manage Night Room service and 24 hour café operations
· Understand and demonstrate correct procedures regarding the acceptance of foreign currencies, credit cards and cash in accordance with the hotel credit policy
· Represent the Night Manager and other senior managers in their absence, taking full responsibility of the hotel
· Ensure appropriate handover and clear communication within the department and with other departments where required
· Attend appropriate training courses, when required
· Act in accordance with policies and procedures when working with front of house equipment and property management systems
· Conduct Health and Safety Checks and Night Walks
· Maintain a good status awareness of all hotel areas
