Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Night Manager to support our overnight warehouse operations in a fast-paced food distribution environment. This role performs clerical duties while assisting the Night Manager and facilitating the selection and loading process to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Shift: Overnight hours between 4:00 PM – 4:00 AM Sunday through Thursday Schedule: Up to 48 hours scheduled per week Starting Pay: $22 - $25/ hour based on experience; Eligible for all Benefits and Profit Sharing Responsibilities: Assist the Night Manager in supervising night staff and coordinating daily tasks. Step in for the Night Manager when necessary, ensuring smooth operations and problem resolution. Communicate shift updates, issues, or operational needs to the team. Verify orders and ensure loading accuracy Support nightly warehouse selection and dispatch Assist Night Manager with reports and administrative tasks Communicate with warehouse staff, drivers, and day shift managers Help coordinate dock activity, equipment, and truck staging Requirements Qualifications: Experience in warehouse shipping or food distribution preferred Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS); BFC experience a plus Overnight experience a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs Ability to jockey trucks and operate warehouse equipment is a plus We’re looking for someone reliable, efficient, and committed to accuracy in a high-volume environment.
