Responsibilities In this new role as the Assistant Nurse Manager, you’ll take the leadership and administrative skills you developed in your time at the bedside, and use them to support a top performing team. Your direct contribution to Community’s mission of helping all those we serve is in coordinating patient care, driving performance improvements and ensuring operational efficiency. Qualifications Education• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required• For NICU and Pediatrics only:o Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree of Science in Nursing (BSN or MSN) required• Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing (BSN) OR other healthcare related Bachelor’s Degree preferred Experience• Strong clinical experience in nursing; previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred Licenses and Certifications • RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required• For specific departments only:o ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification required• For Women & Children's only:o NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program required• For NICU only:o NICRNC - Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse requiredo NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program required within 90 days of hire or transfer into position• For Pediatrics only:o PALS - Pediatric Advance Life Support Certification required• NATIONAL - National Certification related to specialty and applicable to role preferred Disclaimers • Pay ranges listed are an estimate and subject to change.• If any bonuses are noted, they are only applicable to external hires meeting criteria.
