Summary: The Assistant Nurse Manager will provide nursing assessments, treatment plans, medication administration, and vitals, while assisting the medical doctor as needed. This position requires a valid RN license in NJ. Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Pay: $85,000 to $120,000 annually. Responsibilities: The primary duties for this job include preparing weekly assignments, preparing weekly schedules, update training and schedule needed training for all nursing staff. Participate in all nursing interviews, attend meetings as scheduled, assist in facilitating teamwork among shifts and all other departments. Assist in nurse recruitment, retention and professional development. Assist in completing nurse competency and evaluations. Assist in overseeing the admission process Detox units and Inpatient units. Assist in completion of all required CARF, OMHSAS and DDAP requirements. Participate in charge nurse meetings. Participate in nursing and other departmental meetings. Communicate all client and staff issues to Nurse Manager. Maintain and foster Pyramid core values, Promote the ROSC principles. Provide on call coverage. Assist in monthly medical reports and chart monitors and communicate any areas of concern to the Nurse Manager. Provide support to staff on high volume shifts. Assist in coordination with the pharmacy to ensure clients’ needs are met in cost effective manner. Assist and communicate with providers regularly. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Valid RN license in NJ Ability to use EMRs effectively. Awareness and understanding of regulating bodies (CARF, OMHSAS, DDAP). Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques.
