We have an exciting opportunity for a Assistant Nursery Cook to come and join our Explorers Day Nursery setting in Nursling, Southampton. The successful candidate will work alongside our very experienced Nursery Cook and will be responsible to:

• Assist to prepare and cook healthy, nutritious meals for all children within the setting to the highest of quality and standard.
• Support to organise and take ownership of the kitchen, ensuring a smooth running each day.
• Ensure that all children within the setting, regardless of dietary requirements and needs, receive meals and snacks that are healthy, well balanced, and nutritious.
• Ensure that all Health & Safety regulations and legislation is strictly adhered to within the Company, including safer food, better business.

The hours for the position are 17.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, all year round. The working pattern is 12.30pm - 4pm each day.
