JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Senior Dental Receptionist and Assistant Office Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced dental office environment. This role requires proficiency in handling phone systems, scheduling appointments, and maintaining electronic medical records, as well as working with the Office Manager to manage the day to day operations of the clinic. Dental reception experience is a must!

EXPERIENCE

  • Must have previous experience as a Dental Receptionist.
  • Familiarity with dental software such as Cleardent, training also available.
  • Proficient in using phone systems and managing front desk operations.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental practices.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations efficiently.
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using electronic medical records systems.
  • Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and providing information about services.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
  • Process patient intake forms and verify insurance information.
  • Assist with billing inquiries and payment processing as needed.
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the office.
  • Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with staff and patients
  • Working with the Office Manager to ensure smooth operations of the clinic.
