Post all documents, vehicle deals, commissions, and additions and changes to inventory. Monitors and conducts random audit of daily bank deposit and cash report. Maintains an effective cash management system. Forecasts cash needs. Monitors and conducts random audits of petty cash amounts for dealership and sales department. Reconciles select accounts monthly. Approves adjustments to inventory and receivable accounts. Ensures that all manufacturer accounts including warranty claims, rebates, interest, protection, and co-op advertising accounts are current and accurate. Prints monthly journals, schedules, and general ledger. Assists with processing accounting month-end. Keeps updated on current factory incentives and codes deliveries on dealership computer systems accordingly. Prepares sales commission. Manages the payoff of vehicle floor plan and works with bank representatives. Approves new charge accounts and oversees collection of past due accounts. Compiles information and prepares reports as requested by management and/or dealer principal. Maintains a professional appearance. Attends managers’ meetings as requested. Education and/or Experience: Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Auto dealership experience required. Qualifications and Requirements: Current, valid Drivers License with driving record that meets insurance company standards. Willing to submit and the ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen. Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written. Good working relations with customers by providing courteous, efficient and professional service. Earn and maintain on-going industry and factory related training requirements. Detail-oriented, professional appearance and strong work ethic. Responsibilities
