Description Are you detail-oriented with a passion for numbers, organization, and accuracy? Our dealership is seeking an Assistant Office Manager to support the Office Manager with financial reporting, cash management, and administrative oversight. This role is essential in ensuring our dealership runs smoothly, stays compliant, and maintains accurate financial records. What You’ll Do Assist the Office Manager in hiring, training, and supervising office team members Prepare and organize financial data to generate timely and accurate monthly financial statements Maintain cash flow, prepare daily deposits, and assist with bank reconciliations Handle vehicle deal postings, commissions, and inventory changes Support compliance with manufacturer accounts, government regulations, warranty claims, rebates, co-op advertising, and protection programs Assist with sales commission reports, chargebacks, and vehicle floor plan payoffs Provide daily operating control reports and trend updates to dealership leadership Cross-train with team members to ensure coverage and efficiency Take part in annual financial audits and reviews Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all tasks Requirements What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business, or equivalent work experience Two or more years’ experience in automotive dealership accounting or a related field preferred Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and general accounting principles Excellent attention to detail with organizational and time-management skills Ability to work with confidentiality, integrity, and accuracy Competency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and dealership management systems (experience with CDK, Reynolds, or similar is a plus) Strong communication skills both in writing and verbally, with the ability to present information clearly to managers and peers Skills That Will Make You Successful Mathematical aptitude: ability to compute rates, ratios, percentages, and analyze financial figures Strong reasoning ability: able to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions Ability to adapt and work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment Team-oriented mindset with leadership support capabilities Physical & Work Environment Office-based with typical business hours Requires working at a desk, using computers, phones, and office systems Collaborative and supportive dealership team environment Why Join Us Competitive compensation package Benefits including [insert: health, dental, 401(k), paid time off, etc.] Career growth opportunities within a respected dealership group Professional and team-oriented environment If you’re an accounting professional who loves accuracy, teamwork, and contributing to the financial success of a dealership, we want to hear from you.
