Department: Dean of Students' Office Job Posting Details Applications are now invited from high-caliber candidates for the position of Assistant Officer in the Student Housing & Residential Life Office (SHRLO) under the Dean of Students’ Office (DSTO). Key Responsibilities: The appointee will play a crucial role in the hall admission team of the office: Handle general inquiries and complaints from hall applicants and residents through email, phone, and in‑person interactions. Process student housing applications, room allocations, and billing matters. Liaise effectively with internal departments, student societies, and various student groups. Maintain accurate student records with a strong commitment to confidentiality. Provide administrative support and assist in the daily operations of the office and student halls. Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor(s). Requirements: Applicants should have a bachelor's degree, preferably with relevant work experience in student dormitories or tertiary institutions. A service-oriented mindset and an outgoing personality. Ability to work independently and flexibly. High level of computer literacy and attention to detail. Possess good communication skills and a strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua). Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. (Duration: 2 years, renewable) Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
