Upon physician request, medications will be prepared according to the patient's demographic and specific etiological requirements. At Boudreaux's New Drug Store, our philosophy is founded on the belief that every individual deserves access to comprehensive pharmaceutical care that goes beyond dispensing medication. Relationships and agreements with other health care professionals are entered into with the goal of improved patient outcomes. About the Role: The Assistant Operations Director plays a critical role in supporting the Operations Director to ensure the seamless and efficient functioning of all operational activities within the organization. This position is responsible for overseeing daily operations, optimizing processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and service quality. The Assistant Operations Director collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to implement strategic plans and operational policies that align with the company’s goals. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage resources effectively, resolve operational challenges, and contribute to long-term business growth. Ultimately, the Assistant Operations Director ensures that operational objectives are met while maintaining high standards of compliance, safety, and customer satisfaction. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management or a similar leadership role. * Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams. * Strong knowledge of operational best practices, compliance standards, and safety regulations. * Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: * Master’s degree in Business Administration or related discipline. * Experience in the specific industry relevant to the hiring organization. * Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies. * Proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and data analytics tools. * Demonstrated success in change management and driving operational transformation. Responsibilities: * Assist in the development and execution of operational strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness across departments. * Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards. * Coordinate with department heads to manage workflow, allocate resources, and resolve operational issues promptly. * Analyze operational data and prepare reports to inform decision-making and identify areas for improvement. * Support the Operations Director in budgeting, forecasting, and managing operational expenses. * Lead and mentor operational staff to foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment. * Implement and oversee safety protocols and risk management procedures to maintain a safe workplace. * Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying bottlenecks and recommending process enhancements. * Facilitate communication between senior management and operational teams to ensure alignment on objectives. * Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned by senior leadership.
