JOB OVERVIEW
THIS IS A WORKING PATROL POSITION AND NOT A DESK JOB. Assistant Operations Managers (AOM) are either Level 2 or 3 Uniformed Security Officers who oversee and hold accountable 907 Tactical Security Group Armed and Unarmed Security Officers. AOM’s are trained in the use of non-lethal and lethal Use of Force depending on their security level and weapons certifications. AOM’s ensure that Security Guards/Officers are providing physical security as well as roving foot and/or vehicle patrols to regularly check Client property, and to deter and report crimes. Depending on the Client contract, AOM’s may lawfully assist officers and detain and arrest persons who commit crimes on Client property and work with local law enforcement in submitting reports and transferring custody of suspects who trespass or commit crimes while on Client property. AOM’s shall submit Daily and Weekly SitReps, weekly Timesheets, and Incident Reports as necessary. AOM’s report to either the Operations Manager or Chief Operations Officer.
Pay Range is DOE.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent
GOOD TIME-MANAGEMENT SKILLS
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to operation Microsoft Office products
Proven experience as security manager or similar position
Experience using relevant technology and equipment (i.e. TracTic, Silvertrac, etc.)
Experience in reporting and emergency response planning
Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
Solid understanding of statistical data analysis
Working knowledge of MS Office
EXPERIENCE IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
Knowledge of general security practices
Knowledge of State and Federal Laws for security field
CRISIS MANAGEMENT SKILLS
Must have a clean driving record and valid US Drivers License
Strong leadership skills and proven success
Ability to support and motivate a 24/7/365 operation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to represent to the highest level the organization to businesses and groups across/outside the
Ability to function under pressure and stressful emergency situations
Capability to maintain a high degree of proficiency when driving, utilizing security related skills and techniques
Experience protecting company classified and sensitive information with confidentiality
Demonstrate leadership behaviors, including outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and ability to deliver results
Must be a problem solver, able to balance competing priorities, and be able to manage through complexity and rapid change
Ability to plan, prioritize, and schedule resources both in office and remotely
Management and supervision of 25 or more personnel

Possesses a high sense of integrity
Proven ability working collaboratively to gain cooperation from the various parties involved in order to successfully pursue security objectives
Thorough knowledge and ability to use protective clothing or gear such as duty belts, defensive and offensive weapons systems, gloves, boots, masks, goggles, and
Experience in one field of military/law enforcement/industrial security/investigation/ government relations is required
