POSITION SUMMARY

As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Operations Manager to support operations across multiple store locations. This role is essential in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, supporting staff, implementing new procedures, and enhancing customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a background in parts, production, and estimating, and excels in time management, organization, and people skills.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • 10 + years Experience in parts, production, and estimating within the auto body industry.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to lead and support staff across multiple locations.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and solution oriented.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS

· High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Post Secondary Education in Business(preferred)
  • Red Seal Certification from a recognized auto body repair program
  • Additional certifications in auto body repair, estimating, or leadership training are considered assets.

Responsibilities
  • Fill in operational gaps at store level due to staff absences, holidays, or shortages.
  • Support stores during high-volume periods, including managing tow-ins and overflow.
  • Train and onboard new staff, supporting employee development and growth.
  • Assist with the implementation of new procedures and policies across locations.
  • Conduct file audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with HR to support performance reviews and employee evaluations.
  • Address customer concerns and complaints to ensure a positive experience.
  • Serve as a liaison between store teams and executive leadership.
