As the Assistant Operations Manager, you will ensure that the customer expectations for timely provision of contractually compliant equipment, drivers and operators, 24/7 365 days per year are exceeded. Provide operational logistics support to the Operations Manager and act as the Alternate Operations Manager in his absence. Maintain control of day to day of project operations in Kuwait while utilizing the project logistics staff as required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High School or GED Required; Associates or Bachelor’s degree is desired
• 3 yrs. experience in logistics or movement control work with U.S Military or similar
• Five years’ experience in U.S Military logistical and Movement Control is desired

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Competent in operating Satellite Commercial In-Transit Visibility Software or USG Global Distribution Management Systems (GDMS)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues.
• Prepared and able to work closely with multi-national team and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues who use English as their second language

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess a valid U.S. Passport (preferred)
• Valid US Driver’s License with clean driving report
• Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures
• Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions
