POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Assistant Operations Manager at Northern Force Security (NFS) plays a key role in supporting the Operations Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of security services across multiple client sites. This position ensures that security teams are effectively deployed, client expectations are met, and operational standards are consistently maintained. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and able to manage both people and processes to maintain smooth, efficient operations.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in security operations or supervisory role; experience in security management preferred.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with security regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic reporting tools.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Security license and/or relevant certifications considered an asset.
    Schedule Requirements:
    Flexible to work day, evening, or weekend shifts as operational needs require
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Operations Manager in day-to-day operational activities.
  • Oversee scheduling and deployment of security personnel across client sites.
  • Support site supervisors and mobile security teams with guidance, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.
  • Conduct audits and inspections of client sites to ensure compliance with post orders and company policies.
  • Monitor incident reports, logs, and documentation to ensure accuracy and timely submission.
  • Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and training of security personnel.
  • Maintain communication with clients to address concerns, feedback, and service adjustments.
  • Prepare operational reports and present updates to management.
  • Ensure all operations comply with legal, health & safety, and internal policy requirements.
  • Participate in planning and implementing operational improvements and initiatives.
