POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant Operations Manager to support our operations team in delivering high-quality solar and battery projects across Adelaide and surrounding regions. This role is ideal for someone with strong coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational, people and time management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, Google Suite, Outlook and industry related CRMs.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in operations, project coordination, or site management (renewable energy industry preferred but not compulsory)
  • Knowledge or experience in solar, battery storage, or electrical trades is highly desirable but not compulsory
  • Knowledge of WHS practices and relevant Australian standards
  • Valid Australian driver’s licence
Responsibilities
  • Assist the management in planning, coordinating, and supervising daily operations and installations
  • Oversee scheduling of installation teams, equipment, and materials to ensure timely project delivery
  • Coordinate with sales, admin, and procurement teams to ensure project readiness
  • Monitor site progress, quality standards, and compliance with safety regulations
  • Support in workforce management, including onboarding, training, and performance tracking of field staff
  • Assist with inventory control and ensure materials are ordered and managed efficiently
  • Handle customer inquiries or concerns
  • Implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain documentation and reporting for operational KPIs, WHS, and compliance
