Role purpose
Chatswood Chase has long been a hub for premium and luxury brands and will continue to evolve over the next few years to better serve the community in which it is located. Far-reaching plans to transform the Centre comprise of two major development phases and contribute to Vicinity’s broader development strategy to deliver market-leading destinations and mixed-use precincts that cater for both work and play.
The redevelopment of Chatswood Chase Sydney is one of Vicinity’s most exciting large-scale retail development opportunities. Building on Vicinity’s position as Australia’s leader of luxury and leveraging its strong relationships with luxury and international brands, the retail development will introduce a new and upgraded luxury retail offer, delivering the best of Australian and international designers curated especially for the Chatswood Chase Sydney customer.
The key purpose of the Assistant Operations Manager role is to support to the Operations Manager in the maintenance of the centre to maximise customer and retailer satisfaction, whilst assisting in the day to day running of the centre to ensure it is maintained to the agreed standards that s which help bring the Vicinity brand to life.
What will you bring?
You will have previous experience in in a similar role, ideally within shopping centre facilities management. You will be known for your solid technical knowledge of building operations and legislation, including regulatory compliance, contractor management capability and workplace health & safety (WH&S) gained through your background in construction and shop-fitting (or similar). You will have strong project management skills and an understanding of managing project costs would be beneficial. You will have a proven track record for building and maintaining strong relationships in order to deliver positive outcomes along with a your ability to collaborate effectively with your team.
