POSITION SUMMARY

We are currently seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to help oversee daily operations in our busy processing facility. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with mechanical experience, strong teamwork, great communication skills, and a positive, forward-thinking attitude.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Mechanical/Millwright experience is an asset
• Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing/processing environment preferred
• Strong leadership and organizational skills and able to work in a team
• Flexible with working hours based on production needs
• Positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills, and strong attention to detail

• Assisting in overseeing production processes and procedures
• Ability to anticipate and troubleshoot problems before they impact production flow.
• Ensuring that all standards are met: safety, health and food quality
• Communicate effectively with the operations manager and other departments as needed
• Support scheduling, training, workflow planning and other tasks to uphold steady production
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports for management review.
