• Job Purpose To support the Warehouse Team Leader in managing daily warehouse and dark store operations for quick commerce projects, ensuring efficient inventory management, order fulfillment, picking, packing, and dispatch within defined service level agreements (SLAs). The role is responsible for supervising warehouse associates, maintaining stock accuracy, monitoring team productivity, and ensuring compliance with operational procedures, safety standards, and customer service requirements.
• Roles and Responsibilities
• Support the Warehouse Team Leader in managing day-to-day warehouse and dark store operations.
• Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff involved in receiving, put-away, picking, packing, replenishment, and dispatch activities.
• Ensure quick commerce orders are processed accurately and dispatched within the required SLAs.
• Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock audits, and discrepancy reporting.
• Ensure timely replenishment of fast-moving products and maintain optimal stock availability.
• Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) partners, delivery teams, and other operational departments to resolve operational issues.
• Monitor team attendance, shift allocation, productivity, and overall work performance.
• Ensure compliance with FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) practices, product quality standards, and procedures for handling damaged or expired items.
• Maintain warehouse housekeeping, hygiene, safety, and operational discipline.
• Prepare daily operational reports covering order fulfilment, inventory discrepancies, team productivity, and pending activities.
• Identify operational gaps and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service quality.
• Ensure compliance with established warehouse procedures, company policies, and applicable health and safety requirements.
• Perform other warehouse- and operations-related duties as assigned by the Manager.
• Educational Qualifications and Experience
• Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant warehouse operations experience.
• Experience in third-party logistics (3PL), quick commerce, e-commerce, or dark store operations is preferred.
• Previous experience in team coordination or staff supervision is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare resource allocation in collaboration with the operations supervisor, based on demand in order to achieve the agreed objectives and to optimize resources.
• Prepare and deliver catering equipment in a timely and effective manner in coordination with various stake holders.
• Delegate and supervise the team members in the preparation, dispatch and loading of catering items to ensure that the process is optimized, timely and meets all safety and quality standards.
• Support the team members in their training needs to perform their jobs safely & efficiently by providing them guidance, resolving any performance or operational issues, and promoting a culture of safety and efficiency.
• Lead BBSM (Behaviour based safety management) checks observed by the team members to minimise food safety hazards & to comply with department SOP’s and regulations.
• Facilitate in managing inventory levels by monitoring stock levels, tracking usage, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure that the necessary products / equipment’s are readily available to meet passenger demand, while minimizing waste and optimizing costs.
• Identify areas for improvement and propose plans to address them in order to enhance the efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the overall customer experience.
