As is the standard across Canada, we also run a busy Neonatal Follow-up Program, with over 800 outpatient visits per year, during which the health and development of former premature infants is closely monitored until the age of 7.5 years, allowing timely referral to the appropriate services when needed.
Our Neonatal Follow-up Program is currently staffed part-time by several general pediatricians and neonatologists having a variety of clinical and educational interests and our multidisciplinary team includes a nurse and a clinical psychologist.
