Job Description
Sofitel Brisbane Central is seeking a dynamic leader with a passion for culinary excellence and a track record of success in the luxury hospitality industry. As an Assistant Outlets Manager, you will lead a diverse team of hospitality professionals to create unforgettable experiences for our guests in our award-winning restaurant, Suzette, our elegant lobby bar, Cuvee and our In-Room Dining & Mini Bar services.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Assist in leading, mentoring and training the operations team members in all outlets – Suzette, Cuvee lounge bar, In-Room Dining and Mini Bar
  • Supervise and delegate duties, ensuring brand standards are maintained
  • Liaise with kitchen to ensure the highest standard of food quality and visual presentation
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to strategise on new product and service offerings
  • Promote a strong ‘Heartist’ culture and a team focused on creating unforgettable guest experiences.
    Qualifications

YOU’LL EXCEL IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE:

  • A service-focused personality and a passion for all things food and beverage
  • Previous experience in a similar leadership role is a strong asset
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol qualification
  • Barista training
  • Excellent knowledge of beer, wine and cocktails
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities and the ability to lead by example
  • Strong networking skills with proven ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships
  • Experience in building a strong team culture
  • A record of high performance and achievement.
