Purpose of Job: To support the production planner and assist with the stock control of all raw materials.

KEY SKILLS.

Methodical and analytical thinker, with strong excel spreadsheet and Microsoft outlook skills.
Extreme attention to detail is required to ensure accuracy of stock count and spend criteria.

• Dealing with suppliers, internal and external customers in a professional courteous manner at all times to establish and consistently operate communication processes that promote two-way feedback and develop relationships based on openness and trust.
• Work closely with the Production planner to ensure raw materials and planned production is in line with stock holding parameters and customer demand.
• Use of excel/spreadsheets to track and benchmark parameters relating to supplier, performance, company usage, stock holding and overseeing contracted volumes.
• Telephoning suppliers and customers as required, to arrange or chase, in and outbound deliveries.
• Raise and reconcile purchase orders with delivery notes ensuring quantity and price integrity is maintained. liaising with the accounts department and The Supply Chain Manager where discrepancies are found.
• Good organisational skills and a thorough attention to detail are a must in this role.
