We have an exciting new opportunity for an Assistant Planner to join our team.

Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY:

We are recruiting for an Assistant Planner who will be responsible for overseeing the production planning and scheduling process to ensure efficient and timely manufacturing operations.

THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Develop and implement effective production planning strategies to ensure on-time manufacturing and delivery of products.
  • Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to align material availability with production schedules.
  • Monitor production progress, resolve scheduling conflicts, and adjust plans as necessary.
  • Analyse demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and inventory levels to optimise production efficiency.
  • Work closely with sales, operations, and logistics to balance supply and demand requirements.
  • Implement and oversee production planning tools and software to enhance scheduling accuracy.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline planning processes and increase efficiency.
  • Analyse, challenge and escalate stock variance(s) including 3PL managed warehouse
  • Support Project Planner with mid term planning for the business
