JOB DESCRIPTION

A key position within the factory responsible for the raw material planning, manufacturing operations and distribution of the finished product. As well as operating a state-of-the-art dry mortar factory, you will also be responsible for the daily planning of all raw material deliveries and the daily planning of the delivery fleet. You will have daily direct contact with our customer base, which will allow you to deliver a market leading service for our product delivery to some of the major construction companies in the UK.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Don’t worry if you don’t have all the requirements as we are looking for a candidate with a well organised approach and willingness to excel. We will support you with any training needed however it would be helpful if you had the below, but these are not essential;

  • Counterbalance FLT and Loading Shovel Training
  • Full Category B driving licence
  • General computer literacy
Responsibilities

The below are key responsibilities however full training will be given on site.

  • You will be responsible for operating a state-of-the-art sand drying system and mortar mixing plant, becoming a skilled plant operator and team leader.
  • Loading LGV vehicles within the factory.
  • You will also be responsible for production planning, ordering raw materials and producing finished product to meet a demanding and busy order book, along with leading and supervising your production and driving teams.
