DESCRIPTION
8DB, the integrated barristers chambers within the DAC Beachcroft group, was founded and developed by the industry leading barristers for the in-house advocacy model. The aim of the team is simple: to bring the services of the Bar to our clients via a streamlined and quality service. Our team of barristers and advocates, centrally clerked, work with both internal and external clients to deliver the advisory, drafting and advocacy they might otherwise instruct chambers for.
We are looking for a clerk/assistant practice manager to join our integrated barristers chambers, 8DB, to work alongside the current clerking team. The purpose of the role is to ensure that a high quality service is provided to all clients and to ensure a high standard of support is provided for all our Barristers and Advocates.
The preferred locations for the position are Birmingham, Bristol, London, Manchester but we welcome applications from candidates nationwide. Given our firms’ flexible working policy location will not be a restricting factor to applications. Experienced clerks will be able to work fully remote.

The years you have been working in the profession are not as important as the experience that you have gained along the way or the character that you possess.
We would like someone with at least 1-3 years’ experience of clerking and who enjoys working within a team environment, working for common goals.
