Description

We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
The Community Treatment & Care Service will provide an accessible, appropriate, high quality, culturally sensitive effective treatment room service to individuals within a primary care treatment & care room setting whilst also working in partnership with other wider members of the primary care team.
Band 4 Assistant Practitioner Renfrewshire HSCP
This is permanent, fulltime role of 37 hours per week, with a shift pattern 5 over 7 days
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Assistant Practitioner to join Renfrewshire HSCP Community Treatment & Care Service (CTAC). As an Assistant Practitioner you will work under the supervision of a registered practitioner, to provide high quality care and treatment and assist in both skilled clinical interventions and the implementation and evaluation of programmes of care for patients and their carers. You should possess excellent communication, analysis of information, planning and organisational skills, complying with legislation.
The post covers a large geographical areas supporting patients in the clinic and home environment. The post holder is required to work flexibly across this geographical area of ctac(treatment rooms and phlebotomy services)
The post holder will be supported by the Community Treatment & Care Team to work towards completion of local competency framework and Mandatory Induction Standards Workbook, and NHSGGC Level 4 competency frameworks, if they have not already completed.
You must be able to demonstrate evidence of achievement of SCQF Level 8 in a healthcare related subject (or equivalent), or, experience demonstrated through the application of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) from a credit rating body e.g. college/university. Trainees may be considered; if any support is required for educational components the post holder will be remunerated at band 3 level until this has been achieved.
Experience of working in a Health and Social Care setting is desired.
