Band 4 Assistant practitioner – Glasgow Stroke
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the North Stroke Team for an assistant practitioner, to provide ongoing rehabilitation to patients in a ward setting. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic AHP HCSW who has experience of working within a rehabilitation setting.
The post holder will be expected to work in the stroke rehab unit Stobhill hospital. The Team facilitates timely discharge from hospital for patients following a stroke and provides continued rehabilitation of patients. The post holder will carry out specific tasks delegated by therapists to support OT staff in providing this service.
Patient documentation and multi-disciplinary communication within the team is also a requirement of the role.
Regular supervision and support will be offered as well as training opportunities as required.
