Position Summary Discovery Kidzone is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Bozeman, Montana. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with young children, values hands-on learning, and brings a positive, energetic attitude to the classroom each day. The ideal candidate enjoys interactive learning, outdoor activities, creative play, and supporting children’s social and emotional development in a safe and engaging environment. Responsibilities Support the Lead Teacher in daily classroom activities and routines Help create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment Use a variety of teaching methods including storytelling, educational games, music, movement, and hands-on activities Encourage children’s social development, independence, and confidence Guide children through age-appropriate learning activities focused on colors, numbers, shapes, art, and practical life skills Assist with classroom routines including snack time, nap time, and outdoor play Supervise children closely to ensure safety and well-being Track and communicate children’s progress with families Collaborate with teachers and staff to support classroom success Maintain cleanliness and organization in accordance with health and safety guidelines Qualifications Interest in early childhood education and child development Strong communication and teamwork skills Patient, dependable, and positive attitude Ability to support children in social interactions and conflict resolution Familiarity with classroom safety and sanitation practices CPR and First Aid certification required within 30 days of hire Previous childcare or preschool experience preferred but not required Training & Professional Development We provide: Paid onboarding and licensing training Conscious Discipline training Opportunities for career growth in early childhood education Support for CDA, Montessori certification, and degree pathways Benefits Eligible full-time employees may receive: Competitive hourly pay based on education and experience Quarterly performance bonus opportunities Telehealth services Health, dental, and vision insurance options 401(k) retirement plan Paid professional development opportunities Base pay is determined by education and experience, with the potential to earn quarterly performance bonuses, free telehealth medicine, full health, vision and dental plans and 401K availabile.
