POSITION INFORMATION
Ashford Central School is a small rural school on the Northern Tablelands, which has a population of 570. Students of Ashford Central School are drawn from the township of Ashford and surrounding district. Ashford is 57km north of Inverell and 40km south of the Queensland border. The enrolment of Ashford Central School in 2023 is around 130 students, with approximately half each in primary and secondary departments. 40% of our students identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. The Assistant Principal at Ashford Central School will be responsible for supporting K-6 teachers and working with Secondary Head Teachers to ensure the efficient running of the school.
