POSITION INFORMATION
Auburn Public School is a large primary school established in 1886, located on a split site diagonally across a major intersection in Sydney’s mid-western suburbs. The school caters for a diverse community, evident in the cultural backgrounds of students who attend the school. With a current enrolment of 500 students, 98% of students are bi-lingual and speak English as a second language. The school provides high quality educational programs with a strong emphasis on Literacy, Numeracy, Student Wellbeing and Technology. Extra-curricular opportunities are provided in Creative and Performing Arts, Technology and Sport. There are 4 classes to support students with additional needs, and the school provides community language programs in Arabic, Turkish, Chinese, Dari and Urdu.
