POSITION INFORMATION
Bald Face Public School is located on the Bald Face peninsula, surrounded by the Georges River in the suburb of Blakehurst. The school is set in picturesque surrounds consisting of well-maintained grounds featuring a large grass playground, large covered synthetic turf play area and featuring new playground equipment. The majority of classrooms are brick construction and provide a modern and well-resourced learning environment. All classrooms have interactive panel boards for instruction and every classroom has access to iPads and laptops to enhance learning. Students are provided with a myriad of extra-curricular activities with school programs focusing on developing the whole child in academic, social-emotional, sporting and cultural areas. The school prides itself on enriching every student and ensuring individuals are known, valued and cared for. Our community has high expectations and strong aspirations for student achievement and continual school improvement. Student enrolment numbers are currently 254 students, representing a diverse range of cultural backgrounds with 78% of students from a non-English speaking background.
