POSITION INFORMATION
Epping Public School is located on the traditional lands of the Wallemedagal people of the Dharug nation. With enrolments of 790 students and approximately 94 percent from non-English speaking backgrounds, we are committed to cultivating a vibrant community where staff, students and parents take pride in our inclusive environment. Together, we foster collaborative partnerships that maintain a positive atmosphere, ensuring every student feels known, valued, and cared for. This nurturing space encourages curiosity and meaningful learning to thrive. Central to our educational approach are our comprehensive literacy and numeracy programs, delivered in modern, flexible classrooms that support explicit and differentiated teaching and learning opportunities. We enhance our students’ academic achievements through robust EAL/D programs and other programs of support. In addition to our academic offerings, we provide a rich array of extracurricular activities, allowing students to explore their interests in art, debating, chess, robotics, dance, choir, public speaking, bands, strings, PSSA sports and design. Our school community is incredibly supportive, with the P&C actively working to enhance resources and create opportunities for our students. We also partner with community providers to offer after-school classes in languages such as Chinese, Hindi and Korean, as well as music tuition, further enriching our students’ educational experience.
