Position: Assistant Principal: Religious Education
Start date: As soon as able
Employment Status: Full-Time Contract
Salary: $93,259 - $132,283 (pending experience) + 12.75% super
What we are looking for:
Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Principal: Religious Education (APRE) to join the leadership team at St Therese’s Catholic Primary School, Monto. This is a full-time 12 month contract, with the possibility of extension. This position is for an immediate commencement or as negotiated with the successful applicant.
In this leadership position you will have a commitment to providing quality Catholic education based on your faith, participate in the faith life of the parish, as well as have appropriate teaching experience, academic qualifications and leadership qualities.
The position of APRE acknowledges the important and distinctive place of religious education and faith development within Catholic schools. It is to assist with this particular aspect of the Principal’s leadership role that the role of APRE exists. The APRE focuses on providing leadership in religious education, including the religious life of the school and the teaching of Religion, according to Catholic Education policies and practices in the Diocese of Rockhampton.
