POSITION INFORMATION

Sturt Public School is located in the Wagga Wagga suburb of Kooringal. It has a student enrolment of 339. Students come from a wide range of socio-economic backgrounds with 15% of students identifying as First Nations and 15% from an English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EAL/D). There is an 5/6 Opportunity Class that caters for high potential and gifted Year 5 and Year 6 students.
The school’s motto is ‘Strive to Achieve’ and this drives the ethos of providing students with a broad range of opportunities to learn and grow, including extra-curricular opportunities in Sport, Science, Technology and Creative and Performing Arts. The school has been recognised as a STEM showcase school. All these enable our students to excel through a range of different experiences.
