About the Role Are you a detail-oriented procurement professional looking to take the next step in a regional role? Rentokil Initial is seeking an Assistant Procurement Manager to be the primary day-to-day contact for our New Zealand business. The successful candidate will report to our Head of Procurement and Sustainability, Pacific. Working as part of a broader Pacific team, you will balance independent tasks with collaborative projects to deliver procurement benefits and ensure process integrity. You will work across a broad range of categories, providing critical analysis and support to achieve improved commercial outcomes. Key Responsibilities Strategic Sourcing: Support the team with spend analysis, identify saving opportunities, and assist in developing business cases for new sourcing activities. Business Partnering: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to determine requirements and implement sourcing outcomes. Performance & Governance: Monitor vendor SLAs using industry KPIs, ensure compliance with the Procurement Policy, and manage risks within the authority framework. Finance & Operations: Support monthly forecasting, assist in constructing the annual operating plan (Budget), and maintain key Master Data within the Business Central system. Reporting: Derive valuable insights from data to support decision-making and compile periodic performance packs for the Executive Leadership Team (ELT). Who We Are Looking For We are looking for a proactive individual with strong commercial acumen and the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights. Essential Criteria: Experience: At least 2 years of experience within a procurement function. Education: Tertiary qualifications in Procurement, Finance, Business, Commerce, or Law. Skills: Highly developed interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, and a creative approach to problem-solving. Technical: Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets and MS PowerPoint/Google Slides. Preferred Qualifications: CIPS or Procurement Academy training. Previous experience in Procurement Operations or as a Finance Analyst. Proven experience in Business Partnering. Why Join Us?
