Description:

The Role
Responsibilities: • Sourcing and supply: Sourcing and supplying a wide range of construction items, including service contracts, and capital • Contract management: Negotiating, implementing, and managing contract tenders • Cost management: Identifying cost-saving opportunities and analyzing data to monitor savings • Supplier relations: Developing and maintaining relationships with existing and new suppliers • Team management: Ensuring the team is high-performing and productive • Day-to-day operations: Responding quickly to suppliers to limit the impact of supply issues • Stakeholder support: Providing advice and support to stakeholders on contractual and procurement matters • Market gap identification: Working with suppliers to identify gaps in market provision and opportunities to close them
Requirements
Qualifications: • Minimum 10 years’ management experience in a centralized procurement environment. • Degree in business or procurement. • Centralized Procurement System experience – SAP SRM/R3 desirable. • Commercially focused, keen eye for detail with strong analytical & numerical skills. • High-level competence in Microsoft Excel and other office packages. • Proven negotiation skills. • Strong interpersonal skills. • Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills (both verbal and written). • Spoken Arabic is highly desirable.
