JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or equivalent qualification, preferably in Mechanical, Materials, or Chemical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, project management, and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, JMP, SPC, DOE, or statistical analysis tools is an advantage.
• Willingness to work in controlled environments such as clean rooms and dry rooms (0% humidity) for sample preparation and line trials.

• Support engineers in planning and developing action plans for projects.
• Assist in drafting design drawings and technical documentation.
• Conduct battery cell analysis and evaluations, including interpreting engineering test results.
• Assist in sample preparation, line trials, and test runs, as well as coordinate sample shipments.
• Execute assigned tasks or projects as directed by management.
• Adhere to workplace safety and health (WSH) policies, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and hazard mitigation practices.
• Maintain awareness of environmental policies, corporate objectives, and sustainability targets.
• Assist in the introduction of new battery cell products for various applications, including power tools, outdoor equipment, and backup power units.
• Support the expansion of existing battery cell production lines.
• Assist in material changes for battery cells to enhance cost efficiency and business continuity.
• Contribute to design reviews and standardization efforts to improve product quality, yield, and productivity.
• Collaborate with quality assurance and sales teams to address customer requirements.
• Support investigations into quality issues, including assessing risks related to battery cell performance.
