You'll be hands-on across a wide range of operations, including: Supporting feed planning and pasture management to hit production targets Leading milking operations and maintaining high hygiene and milk quality standards Monitoring animal health Managing effluent systems and ensuring environmental compliance Coaching junior team members and helping run day-to-day farm activities ABOUT US Pāmu Landcorp Farming Limited is a State-Owned Enterprise with over 110 farms across New Zealand. Our purpose is to lead the delivery of innovative and sustainable agriculture solutions for future generations. THE FARM Wingpoint Dairy is a 330 effective ha block, milking 780 cows twice a day through a 70-bail rotary, situated 15 minutes from Martinborough and 20 minutes south of Featherston. We also have an additional 96 effective ha support block 10 min up the road. The school bus and lots of recreational activities are close by, and as the farm is bordering Greytown and Martinborough, there are plenty of community events. You are self-motivated and passionate about dairy farming, wanting to grow your career and develop your leadership skills. You will ideally have: Solid dairy experience (bonus points for ITO Level 2) Skills in pasture management, feed planning, and general farm operations High standards of animal welfare and commitment to health and safety Self-motivation and initiative, able to problem-solve Current and full NZ driver’s licence Experience driving farm machinery/tractors BENEFITS This role comes with a four-bedroom house with internal garage.
